Biography >
Known as the Bath Bullet, Jason’s career high point was leading off the British 4×100m relay quartet of Darren Campbell, Marlon Devonish and Mark Lewis-Francis that struck gold at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Jason was made an MBE in the 2005 New Year Honours List and became an Honorary Freeman of the City of Bath following that dramatic gold Olympic medal.

His other top honours include a gold medal over 60m at the 2004 World Indoor Championships and a hat-trick of 60m European Indoors Championships titles. He also names a Commonwealth Games relay gold medal at Manchester 2002 and a World Championships relay silver medal among his many achievements.

His silver at the 1998 European Indoor Championships was his first senior championships medal and in 1999 he became only the third British runner to break the 10-second barrier for 100m, clocking 9.98 seconds in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Jason benefited from training at the state-of-the-art indoor running straight at the University of Bath Sports Training Village.
